What exactly is a Home Equity Investment (HEI)?
An HEI is not a loan. An investor gives you a lump sum of cash today in exchange for a percentage of your home's future value when you sell or refinance (typically 10–30 years out). No monthly payments, no interest, no debt on your credit report.
How much can I access?
Typically 10–25% of your home's current appraised value, depending on the provider and your existing mortgage balance. Use our equity calculator for a fast estimate.
What's the catch? What do I give up?
You share a percentage of your home's future appreciation. If your home goes up 50%, the investor gets their pre-agreed share of that gain at exit. You keep the rest. The better your home appreciates, the more they earn — which is why they want to fund you.

How long does the process take?
Pre-approval takes 24–48 hours. Full appraisal and underwriting typically run 2–4 weeks. Bitcoin delivery occurs within 48 hours of final funding. Most customers go from application to BTC in their wallet in about 30 days.
What if Bitcoin drops after I convert?
That's a risk you're taking, same as any Bitcoin purchase. The equity payout itself has nothing to do with BTC price — it's based on your home's appraised value. We time conversion intelligently, but we can't predict markets. If you want stability, we can convert to USDC instead.
